Herston is an inner suburb of Brisbane, Australia located three kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD.
Herston Road is centrally located across the road from the Victoria Park Golf Course.
In June 2019 the Brisbane City Council announced that the Victoria Park Golf Course will be converted to a 45 hectare park land. The parkland will retain the putt putt, driving range, function centre, bar and bistro. Ideas for the parkland include pop-up cinemas, markets and community events.
Less than a kilometre away is the Kelvin Grove State College. The college is a unique, committed and collaborative P-12 educational institution that seeks to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment. Click here for the link to the Brisbane City Council’s vision for the park land.
The AMA Queensland is a short 600 metres from the Herston Road Property.
The bus stop for the Northern Busway is approximately 700 metres. This puts the Brisbane CBD within 15 minutes of the nearby bus stop. The Brisbane Metro will be running services from Herston Road to the city which should cut down this time.
The $1.1 billion Herston Quarter is set to be one of the city’s largest and most complex biomedical precincts. This is approximately 600 metres away from the project. The Brisbane Airport is close by – a 15 minutes drive.
